Only a constant price level of around US$ 100 per barrel makes oil shale, deep-sea drilling or Arctic drilling profitable in the first place. The consequences are dramatic for many poorer countries. The oil price trap, trade deficit greater than the value of oil imports.

Prosperity without harming others is possible for everyone. Much more, prosperity without harming others is the only chance we have of a future worth living.
