Avowal
We are convinced that man has the ability to create a lasting civilization. Many religions emphasize man's ability. A great world religion writes "God created man in his own image". What worse blasphemy would be conceivable than "The image of God is too stupid to survive"? This enduring civilization is inextricably linked to a worldwide wealth. Only a humanity where every human being has security for his own future, the future of his family, is able to develop further as a civilization. A system where many suffer from stress and anxiety about the future is not suited to lead a civilization to new heights. An energy system that can only bring prosperity to a small part of humanity for a very short time is not capable of leading a civilization to new heights.
The chapter "Foundation of PEGE" in 1992 in the book "Ascent to the Solar Age" expresses all the above-mentioned convictions. See page 153 to 159. This optimistic attitude to the possibilities of mankind has produced the most extreme statements from those who do their utmost to make "The Limits of Growth" a self-fulfilling prophecy. See page 233 to 235 "For how many people does your world view have room?
